Our ministry's Community Care Housing is the next step in our Community Development program, offering a supportive living environment where residents embrace enhanced independence and engage in vocation training programs.
Community Housing
Our Community Care Housing is part of our Community Development program and is designed to be the next step in a resident’s life towards independence. Residents within our Community Development program reside in a supportive house in an enhanced independent capacity. Residents within this program are involved with vocation training programs, fostering their journey towards full independence.
Biblical Concepts Housing is founded on the ideas outlined in Acts 2:44-47
44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
In-House Church
We know a step towards security and continued independence is offering a safe home and meeting physical needs. We also believe that we have been called to share what we have, not just physically, but spiritually as well. We desire to invest in the physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing of all our residents.
Each Sunday Biblical Concepts Housing brings church into the homes and meets the residents to worship together, as a community. Our staff provides care, physical and spiritual, for our residents. Our staff host Bible studies throughout the week for residents to participate in learning from God’s word.
Community
We also believe ministry extends to our residents being seen and providing for “normal” opportunities. We have days out to the movies, community parties, fall festivals, and are always on the lookout for other community celebration events.
